High mineral content can corrode and clog water distribution systems. This can lead to intensive maintenance, system
breakdowns and expensive infrastructure replacement. LCTP1 water distribution systems and storage tanks free of mineral
deposits, scale and corrosion. In combination with Global’s WDE1, it creates a powerhouse cleaning system that also
eliminates biofilm – ideal for greenhouses and field irrigation. Together, these products promote a reliable, low maintenance
system safe for pipes and consistent with ongoing plant health as well as worker health and safety.
A safe alternative
LCTP1 minimizes environmental and handling risks without compromising effectiveness and is longer lasting than organic-
based products.LCTP1 is a sound alternative:, bromine-based binders, hydrochloric and other strong acids, citric and other
natural acids, EDTA and organic chelations such as EDTA and sequestering agents.
HOW LCTP1 WORKS
The battle against metal scaling and corrosion generally requires maintaining an optimum water pH level that keeps
minerals solvent. For example if pH is too low and the water is acidic, minerals ionize and bond to water molecules resulting
in damage such as etching to chrome railings or plaster pits in calcium deficient pools.
Similarly, high alkaline water contributes to mineral corrosion which can damage metal pipes. If water conditions are not or
cannot be maintained at the correct pH to keep minerals solvent, treatment is necessary to avoid damage. Application of
continual small quantities to maintain optimum condition is recommended. The product presents no concern with metallic
loading of soil and gray water.
